San Francisco Giants leaders of division
The San Francisco Giants are on top of the NL West division currently as the San Diego Padres are .5 game behind and Colorado Rockies are 1.5 games back after both losses yesterday and a Giants win. This is getting very exciting!
Carmelo Anthony Possibility
The Denver Nuggets are listening to trade offers from other teams for their superstar Carmelo Anthony. Although nothing has actually happened yet, it shows that the team has made a decision to move him. The only question is when? Officials say anytime before the season starts to the trading deadline in Mid February is estimated time.
We all know that Carmelo made his preferences to play with the New York Knicks.

National League West Race
From here on out there are 13 to 14 crucial games left for the National League West division title and one spot for the Wild Card in the National League. There are 3 teams competing for the NL West division in the San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, and the Colorado Rockies. I wanted to point out the remaining schedule for the 3 teams to see who has the best chance to win the division.
Remaining Schedule:
Teams Competing for NL West:
San Diego Padres: St. Louis Cardinals, LA Dodgers (road), Cincinnati Reds, Chicago Cubs, and San Francisco Giants (road). (2 Home Series + 2 Road Series)
San Francisco Giants:: Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs (road), Colorado Rockies (road), Arizona D-Backs, and San Diego Padres. (2 Home Series + 2 Road Series)
Colorado Rockies:: LA Dodgers, Arizona D-Backs (road), San Francisco Giants, LA Dodgers, and St. Louis Cardinals. (3 Home Series + 1 Road Series)
Key Observations:
Colorado has an advantage because of 3 home series compared to San Diego (2) and San Francisco (2).
San Diego and Colorado has an advantage because they only play same division team once more compared to San Francisco who will play both San Diego and Colorado.
Both San Diego and Colorado will play the LA Dodgers once more in a series and depending on a built rivalry, LA will play San Diego tough.
Conclusion::
I don't know based on scheduling who has the best advantage out of the 3 teams, but definitely San Francisco Giants have the worst scheduling because they have to face both divisional teams in their remaining schedule.
Important Series:
San Francisco Giants vs. Colorado Rockies (home)
Note: This series could determine what happens in the race for the NL or wildcard spot.

NFL Week 2 Schedule & Expectations
The NFL regular season has started and there are 16 games this week including a finale on Monday Night with the San Francisco 49ers hosting the New Orleans Saints. I expect most of the home teams to win. In terms of popularity the Baltimore vs. Cincinnati Bengals should be quite a serious match. Especially with the Bengals regular season success last season and the much anticipated Superbowl hype surrounding the Baltimore Ravens. I am actually clueless about who will come out winners of the Seattle Seahawks versus Denver Broncos game. The perception that much of the teams that lost last week and expected to win this week include the Vikings, Cowboys, Falcons, Eagles, Jets, Chargers, and the Colts. The current odds value these favorites to be in the range of 5 to 7 point favorites according to Pinnaclesports.com
Sudden Twist & Turn for NL West Division
By: William L.
Good evening Pro Sports World!!!! The San Francisco Giants can climb to the top of the National League West Division tonight if they beat the Los Angeles Dodgers. The game is not finished, but as expected, the Giants should be winners, up 8-2 in the bottom of the 8th inning.
The San Diego Padres lost earlier today to the St. Louis Cardinals. It seems like the former 10 game losing streak the San Diego Padres had could be risky to their chances of making the playoffs this year.

MLB PLAYOFF 2010 SEEDINGS
SEP 15, 2010::
By William L.
Recap::
After a temporary break from blogging about sports news and what's happening daily in the sports world I am back! This time I will try to update at least 1 main article or news reported from the NFL, MLB, or NBA. The NFL season started last week and the MLB season is nearing the playoff time.
What I wanted to address today was that if the MLB season was to enter the playoffs right now from the American League we would see the New York Yankees, Minnesota Twins, Texas Rangers, and Tampa Bay Rays for the Wildcard spot. From the National League, the playoff seeding would be the Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, and the Atlanta Braves heading the Wildcard spot.
Lots have changed since the last time posted but few trends have caught my eye. The Twins have taken a clear lead over the Whitesox. Manny Ramirez joined the Whitesox. Though none of it really matters the Oakland A's is 2nd in the division meaning ahead of the Angels. And the Rays and Yankees are dueling it out every day.
Speaking about the National League, the Cincinnati Reds have a clear lead over the St. Louis Cardinals for the Central division. San Diego Padres have lost their huge lead in the division with that 10 game losing streak being in a similar situation with the Yankees & Rays in the NL West. One thing I kind of expected to happen was the Phillies winning the division and seems like they actually will. We will see what will happen with about 17 games left in the regular season.
Well until then nuff ramblin from my part. What I want to see is some comments from viewers please! Till next time. I hope you all have a great day! Gone~
